StarTech.com is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR’s primary mission is simple and critical: book qualified meetings with IT decision-makers at Global 5000 enterprises.
What you will be responsible for:
Meeting Generation
- Secure qualified discovery meetings with IT leaders and decision-makers at target Global 5000 accounts.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly and monthly meeting-booking goals.
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand challenges, priorities, and areas where StarTech.com can add value.
Prospecting & Outreach
- Identify, research, and prioritize target companies and key contacts.
- Execute multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, video, events, partner introductions, direct mail, samples, referrals).
- Personalize messaging and follow-ups to maximize engagement and response rates.
Technology & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all outreach activities in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Use sales engagement tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, automation platforms, AI-driven analytics) to increase efficiency and optimize performance.
- Track conversion metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align outreach with campaigns, messaging, and account priorities.
- Share insights on market trends, customer challenges, and opportunities for improved engagement.
- Participate in training and development to strengthen prospecting, communication, and sales skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales (B2B preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and engagement tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling outreach and confidently cold call.
- Ability to manage high volumes of outreach while maintaining quality and professionalism.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and persistent in driving meaningful conversations.
- Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.
