Readiness and Adoption Specialist
 

As a Readiness and Adoption Specialist, you will play a key supporting role in a team dedicated to helping people feel confident and prepared through times of change. Reporting to the Manager, Readiness and Adoption  your primary responsibility will be to collaborate and execute on the readiness and adoption strategies that support technology and business transformation initiatives.

 

You will bring strong technical expertise in SharePoint and PowerPoint design, using these tools to create engaging, professional, and accessible materials that support learning, communication, and change adoption. Your work will help ensure that change is not only manageable but empowering for all stakeholders.

 

What You'll Do

  • Execute Readiness Strategies: Collaborate with the Readiness and Adoption Lead to implement human-centered strategies that support successful change adoption.
  • Design & Develop Materials: Create high-quality, visually engaging materials such as leadership resources, support guides, process flows, SharePoint sites, and content for facilitated sessions.
  • PowerPoint & SharePoint Expertise: Leverage advanced skills in PowerPoint and SharePoint to design and maintain impactful, user-friendly content and digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with SMEs: Work closely with subject matter experts and business partners to understand project needs and translate them into effective readiness materials.
  • Support Engagement Activities: Design change activities, discussion questions, and resources that help frontline teams engage with and retain key information.
  • Coordinate Deliverables: Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of readiness materials across multiple projects.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with other corporate teams to align efforts and ensure consistency in messaging and delivery.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in PowerPoint design and SharePoint site creation and management.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Ability to apply innovative thinking to design engaging Readiness and Adoption resources.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively across teams, with a track record of consultation and influence.
  • Initiative & Independence: Self-starter who can work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
  • Accessibility Awareness: Knowledge of accessibility best practices in instructional and visual design is an asset.
  • Business Acumen: Familiarity with Canada Life’s business or similar environments is an asset.

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Toronto, Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between  $52,800 - $97,700 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
