The Roadmap

The Internal Automation & Integration Engineer will play a critical role in accelerating AutoVerify’s operational efficiency by identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions and systems integrations across key business units, including Sales, Onboarding, Finance, Customer Success, and Support. You will build robust and scalable integrations between platforms such as HubSpot, Zuora, Jira, Google Workspace, and internally developed systems. This role is ideal for a self-driven problem solver with a passion for efficiency, innovation, and technology.

 

Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover high-impact automation opportunities that improve internal processes, reduce manual work, and increase team productivity.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance integrations between platforms like HubSpot, Zuora, Jira, Google Workspace, and custom applications to ensure seamless data flow and process continuity.Perform other duties, projects, or initiatives as assigned.
  • Develop smart, scalable workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato, or AWS Lambda, with a strong focus on error handling, monitoring, and failover strategies.
  • Apply AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) including ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI APIs to enrich data, classify tasks, parse unstructured inputs, and drive intelligent automation.
  • Design and develop internal utilities such as monitoring dashboards, system sync tools, and lightweight admin interfaces to enhance operational visibility and control.
  • Work closely with Business Operations (BizOps), Revenue Operations (RevOps), and the Internal Product Manager to shape and execute the automation and integration roadmap.
  • Document systems, processes, and workflows comprehensively to support knowledge transfer, team adoption, and internal training initiatives.
  • Perform other duties, projects, or initiatives as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in automation engineering, systems integration, internal tooling, or DevOps roles.
  • Proficiency with low-code/middleware automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato, AWS Step Functions, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys), and webhook systems.
  • Scripting experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms including HubSpot, Zuora, Jira, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience implementing AI-powered automation using APIs like OpenAI, Claude, or LangChain.
  • Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with event-driven or serverless architecture.
  • Experience with internal product development or observability tooling.


Performance Package 

Salary: $80,000-$125,000/year

The salary range listed is for a Canadian employee. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
